Each year, 2 million children die around the world because of water-borne illnesses. You can save a life for just a dollar a month by helping bring safe, clean water to these children and their families.

The Clean Water Foundation of Washington is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing safe, clean water to children in developing countries and those hit by natural disasters such as floods, earthquakes and similar life-threatening events.

The Clean Water Foundation was founded by Leon McLaughlin, a Seattle shoeshine operator who is convinced one person can make a difference in a child's life.

Today, we are partnering with World Vision, a highly respected humanitarian agency, to install water purification equipment in 20 schools and hospitals in Bolivia, along with a community-wide pilot project in one town.

We must raise almost $450,000 to save these children's lives. If you'd like to help, any donation is appreciated. Each dollar donated provides a child safe drinking water for a month.

Give a buck and give a child the gift of safe, clean water. Thank you.
